Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Irving, TX. This contract position spans the current school year, offering a stable schedule from the start date through May 22, 2025, with 40 hours per week devoted to making a meaningful impact in student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students at Paloma Creek Elementary.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy tailored to each students unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational and healthcare regulations.
- Provide services primarily onsite 4 days per week, with one day permitted for remote work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid and active SLP license (CFs and SLPAs are not eligible for this role).
- Experience in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 students.
- Strong caseload management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to student-centered care and educational support.
Location and Work Schedule:
- Paloma Creek Elementary, Irving, TX
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, onsite 4 days, 1 remote workday allowed
